This small Plein Air work was painted along the Brandywine River near Chadd's Ford, Pennsylvania. The summer light and air lies upon the placid waters of the river and dazzles the eye. We are standing on the river path marveling in the peace and quiet that pervades the scene and fills the heart with feelings of contentment. Time stands still.
